Moo there, friends!
Trixie the cow here, checking in from my favorite pasture at Bit of Faith Ranch. From my spot by the fence, I’ve been watching all the excitement build for something special coming up! On Thursday, April 2nd from 6:00–8:00pm, we’re hosting our Spring Open House and Egg Hunt — and it’s shaping up to be a fun-filled evening. Guests can tour the ranch, meet the horses, enjoy refreshments, and learn more about the heart behind Bit of Faith Ranch.
The evening will also feature an Egg Hunt at 7:00pm for individuals of all ages impacted by disabilities. I may not be the best egg hunter (these hooves make it tricky!), but I’ll be cheering everyone on from the corral.
Events like this are my favorite because they bring our community together and welcome new friends to experience the peace and joy of the ranch. I hope to see plenty of smiling faces — and maybe even an apple or two headed my way!
This past month at Bit of Faith Ranch has been full of fun, learning, and connection as we wrapped up our Winter Adaptive Riding Sessions. Our horses had their annual vet checkups, and I’m happy to report everyone is healthy and ready for the adventures ahead — nothing like a clean bill of health to make a cow smile!
We also hosted a Moms + Caregivers Roundup, where participants enjoyed a creative evening making Easter Bunny centerpieces, thanks to the wonderful guidance of Michelle Kincaid of CraftyMK.
Our ranch friends had a fun movie outing to see GOAT, and we wrapped up the month with a BIG Mustang Learning Program day filled with teamwork — from horse care and stall cleaning to building bee houses.
It’s been a month full of meaningful moments, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Things are feeling extra lively around the ranch as we kick off our Spring Adaptive Riding Season! From my pasture view, I can see the excitement building — riders returning, volunteers jumping in, and our incredible horses ready to help everyone grow stronger and more confident in the saddle.
We’re also looking forward to our monthly Movie Outing on March 28th to see Hoppers, a story about connecting with animals — which, as a cow, I fully support!
With spring lessons underway and plenty of community moments ahead, there’s so much happening at the ranch — and I’ll be right here supervising from the pasture.
Even from the pasture, I see how much love shows up through our donors and families, whether giving directly or through Donor-Advised Funds. Every lesson, every milestone, every quiet moment of connection exists because people choose to invest in this place and the riders we serve.
A big YeeHaw to the Knights of Columbus Council 16492 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church for their continued support of Bit of Faith Ranch!
They joined us during our Mustang Learning Program day, cheering on participants and presenting a generous donation. We’re so grateful for partners like them who help our ranch, riders, and community continue to grow.
With a full heart and a happy moo,
Trixie
