March Newsletter: Winter Wrap Up!

Bit of Faith Ranch Wraps Up Successful Winter Season,

Springing Forward with Enthusiasm

Throughout the winter, we focused on enhancing our trail obstacle skills to provide a stimulating and enjoyable environment for our riders. A season highlight was the introduction of our new 'backup box' obstacle. This was a big hit among our riders, adding an extra layer of excitement and skill-building to their sessions. We are thrilled to share some videos showcasing our riders in action, navigating the various obstacles with confidence and determination. These moments capture the spirit of resilience and growth that defines our community at Bit of Faith Ranch.

Our Mustangs also had a time at the ranch this winter. They put their culinary skills to the test making treats to share with the horses, goats and doggie Chloe! They also worked on horse care and happily made smores at the end for all their hard work.

For our parents and caregivers, each had respite opportunities this winter. The dads attended the Resolved Men's event at Redeemer.  Moms had a blast at the Leanne Morgan Comedy show and enjoyed seeing fellow mom, Maureen, bring her Broadway talent to the musical "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" at the Spotlight Center.  Giving parents and caretakers an opportunity to enjoy each other while doing fun activities is a core mission of the ranch.  Our moms and dads work hard day in and day out caring for their lived ones, time away brings refreshment to keep doing all they do.  None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers. Rain or shine, they remained committed and ready to assist, ensuring that every session at the ranch was a memorable and rewarding experience for all involved. We are grateful for their dedication and enthusiasm. As we bid farewell to winter and eagerly anticipate the arrival of spring, we look forward to continuing our mission of providing adaptive riding and equine-assisted learning experiences that inspire and empower. With the unwavering support of our community, we are ready to embark on another season of growth, learning, and joy at Bit of Faith Ranch.Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey so far. Here's to the adventures that lie ahead!
