Howdy friends! Jerry the rascally goat here, popping in with some exciting updates from the ranch — and trust me, this is news worth bleating about!

We’ve officially kicked off Giving Tuesday, and this year we’re keeping the generosity flowing all the way through December 31st! This season is one of the most important times of the year for Bit of Faith Ranch, and your support helps us continue offering connection, confidence, healing, and hope to riders and families in our community — and yes, it helps keep this goat spoiled too.

This month at the ranch has been full of festive fun and meaningful community connection! Earlier in December, we headed out to the Fantasy Farms Holiday Market, where we shared the Bit of Faith Ranch mission, met wonderful families, and enjoyed the animals, music, food, and holiday cheer. It was a joy to be out in the community and connect with people who may one day call the ranch home.

We’re also looking forward to our Monthly Movie Outing to see Zootopia 2, giving our riders and families a chance to unwind, connect, and enjoy time together in a private, no-hush-zone auditorium. These outings remind us how special it is to build community — both at the barn and beyond.

November brought so much joy, growth, and sweet moments around the ranch — and this goat could hardly keep up with all the action! We enjoyed beautiful riding days where our riders gained confidence, strengthened bonds with our horses and volunteers, and shared those quiet, meaningful moments that make this ranch so special.

Our Mustang Learning Program continued to shine as participants worked on horsemanship, social skills, and creative expression — even making their own ornaments. One especially touching moment came on a chilly morning when participants gathered around the fire pit to make s’mores. A rider attending with a residential care group shared, “I haven’t done this since I was little, and it brought back good memories.” Moments like that warm more than just cold hands.

Our Moms + Caregivers Roundup was another highlight, bringing together an incredible group of women for lunch at So Fresh and a chocolate-making class at Peterbrooke Chocolatier. The laughter, support, and connection shared that day were as sweet as the treats they brought home.

And to wrap up the month, our Movie Outing took us to see Sarah’s Oil, giving our families a meaningful, uplifting time together — complete with popcorn, community, and an inspiring true story.

As we wrap up another wonderful year at Bit of Faith Ranch, I want to bleat out a BIG, warm thank you from the bottom of my little goat heart. To every rider who showed up with courage, every family who trusted us, every volunteer who gave time and kindness, and every donor who supported our mission — you are the reason this ranch feels like home.

Because of your generosity and dedication, our horses have been cared for, our programs have continued to grow, and our riders have discovered confidence, connection, and joy.

Community isn’t just a word around here — it’s something we feel every single day in the arena, during outings, at events, and in the friendships formed through shared moments.

Thank you for being part of Bit of Faith Ranch. Thank you for believing in our mission. And thank you for walking (and sometimes trotting!) beside us as we continue to serve families impacted by disabilities.
