Summer Neigh-sletter Straight from |
Hay there, friends!
It’s me—Diesel, your favorite four-hooved reporter—trotting in with the latest mane events from Bit of Faith Ranch. This summer has been full of whinny-ing fun with visits from BridgeHaven, BiG North Florida, and Sugar Valley adult day programs, plus our Mustang Learning Program and Volunteer Barn Days. My pals Jewel, Comanche, Rusty, and our barnyard buddies loved every minute of it!
Barn Glow-Up – We’re adjusting to a little stable shuffle while the barn gets new, drier stalls. The construction noise may be loud, but these upgrades will be un-fur-gettable for our comfort and health.
Moms Retreat – Thanks to retreat sponsor Lissa Slade, John & Susan Ryzewic, Board President Cari McGowan and generous friends, several incredible moms of loved ones with disabilities enjoyed a weekend of re-neigh-laxation: massages, pool time, boat rides, pampering, art kits, and swag bags filled with goodies. Most importantly, they shared laughter, encouragement, and connection with other moms who “get it.”

Foam Party Fun – Our Open House Foam Cannon Party featured dancing, laughter, and mountains of suds! I even got a spa day in our new multi-use area before it transformed into a “make your own ice cream” station. (I still say carrots are better!)
Special Neigh - A big whinny and a happy hoof stomp to The Knights of Columbus Council 16492 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Nocatee for their continued support! You’ve kept our herd trotting strong, and we’re so grateful you’re part of our ranch family.
Off to Greener Pastures – We’re sad to see our barn manager, Hannah, trot off to college in Alabama, but we know she’ll gallop into greatness!
Save the Date – Barnyard Bash is Oct. 11, 4–7 PM! Sponsorships and tickets are available now—it’s going to be neigh-mazing!
Stay kind, stay stable, and always stop to smell the hay.
With love,
Diesel 🐴
